Virtways Spanish Holding Company Indigo Grupo SL has come to an agreement with Gas Natural Fenosa, a market leader in the energy industry and a pioneer of natural gas and electricity supply and active throughout the world. In 2016, the corporation sold 325 TWh all over the world. Gas Natural Fenosa supplies almost 22 million customers in more than 30 countries and on 5 continents, with a plant capacity of 15.4 GW and a very diversified energy mix. As a specialist for liquefied natural gas (LNG), Gas Natural Fenosa has a fleet of 9 LNG tankers and is a leading company in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean Basin.
Gas Natural Fenosa was looking for an independent training & communication platform that can be modified by tailored third-party applications for their special demands. For a company like Gas Natural Fenosa the security and stability of every part of their systems is the most critical issue and only Indigos Technology met all the expectations of their Board.
David Serantes, Head of corporate training in safety at Gas Natural Fenosa, pointed out: „Virtway’s technology is a real disruption in the world of online training. The degree of collaboration and interaction provided by this technology cannot be compared to any other online platform. It’s the closest thing to a live team training. The dynamics that are created between the participants generate a great motivation, they have fun and this reinforces the learning. The ability to integrate third-party collaborative applications makes it possible for us to use it as the center of our employees’ training and communication.“
For Indigo this agreement means a further step in establishing Indigo as a major provider for technologies for communication and collaboration & training solutions on a global market. Next to Gas Natural Fenosa, Indigo already has agreements with other multinational companies from different sectors like Astra Zeneca, Merck Group, Psyma Group or the Internet University UNIR.
Indigo also announced that they are actually in other negotiations with other interested international partners who have the same intention to use Indigos technology as a major platform for their internal training, collaboration and communication. The company intends to publish more details about it in the near future.
